POSITION SUMMARY

​

PLX Labs is looking for a qualified DevOps Engineer (Junior/Senior or specialist working in a relative
technical field with desire to requalify for DevOps). Right candidate will design, develop and maintain
software and tools to support building, deploying and monitoring PLX Labs’s applications. Ideal
candidate is expected to support multiple development teams to build a solid foundation for continuous
integration of our development, testing, and production environments.

We are PLX Labs, a startup IT company, located in Yerevan, Armenia building innovative PaaS and SaaS IT
solutions. PLX Labs is one of the IT offices of a group of companies, which distributed control of its
critical services within the teams allocated independently in diverse regions. Strategic offices of the
group are located in Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia with the clients and partners spread all
over the world: the Americas, Europe and Asia.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

​

• BS degree, preferably in Computer Science, engineering or another technical field

• 1+ year experience in areas of system and network engineering and practical experience with, DevOps environment and tools, examples include Gitlab, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes

• Ansible

• Expert understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems

• Experience implementing and managing Continuous Integration and Deployment processes

• Scripting experience is a MUST and automation skills are needed

• Demonstrated experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

• Experience with building and monitoring, logging systems in AWS and GCP

• Good knowledge of English, both on communication and technical level

• Ability to work under strict time constraints in mission critical situations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

• Ability to work effectively in the team dispersed across multiple geographic locations

• Experience with building and monitoring systems in AWS

• Experience with database administration is a plus
